This is another issue I am facing at the moment. I am developing a site for a class project with a scrollable div on each page. On one of the pages the stuff in the content div ( <div id="content"> ) is extra long. I was wondering if there was a way to print just the div. This is an offshoot of the iframe problem i was facing earlier, but iframes are not allowed in XHTML. hence I'm using the div. If it makes any difference, I am not using the z-index property in the style sheet for the content div. Thanks ...

http://www.blackdogmd.com It seems the alignment of the right header image changes when the website is viewed under IE, however in Firefox it appears fine... any ideas??? Is there a code error which anyone notices? Thanks in Advance p.s. website is obviously not complete... thus no navigation exists Can't you just set the alignment of the cell to right? <td align="right"> As it is, the positioning of the image is entirely up to the browser. didn't correct issue I went through your html, and made it a lot ...

Hi, I'm pretty new to this but have been reading a lot. The thing I can't figure out is how to determine how to find out what people in my geographical area are searching for. For instance, it makes a big difference if people are searching for "mma training in new jersey" vs "mma training in bergen county nj" In all the keyword search tools I can find that mma training is better than mma classes, but it doesn't add anything beyond that. I'm afraid that I am optimizing my site for the wrong thing. Can ...

Hi Everyone I had a quick question on determining keywords for local search and what the following data implies. For instance lets say you are an mma gym and in the adwords tool there are only a few phrases that actually register for locally for that keyword. For instance: mma in Passaic County - 73 mma training in nj - 320 nj mma schools - 390 But the rest of the suggested keyterms don't have any geography attatched to them but have large local (U.S wide) searches such as mma training - 40,000 mma gyms - ...

Hello everyone this is my first time I wrote a code using HTML_Table but I would like the headers to be clickable so the user can sort it. Does anyone know how this can be done? Here is the code: <?php if ($_POST){ $county = $_POST['county']; $rooms = $_POST['type']; $rent = $_POST['rent']; $rent_min = $rent - 500; } $dbase = mysql_connect ( ' ', ' ', ' ' ); mysql_select_db ( ' ', $dbase ); if($county){ $sql = "SELECT * FROM `apartments` WHERE `county` = '".$county."' Hi, I have been working on our school's website and finished it, I then tried it on Safari&Firefox&Opera=working fine. However, Internet Explorer 6 and some versions of 7 move the text down the page. The Sourcecode is really long, so it may be better to look at the website with IE6 first:brynelian.imaginetoys.net/newpage.I've got no idea what the problem is, IE6 and some versions of IE7 just move the text to the bottom. I'll add the sourcecode too, if anyone could help me that would be cool: <span ...

We currently sell real estate in two areas - a major city and also one particular suburb of this city. I am developing our new site and trying to decide what to optimize for. I'd love to be the authority in the major city, but I know it will take a lot more SEO. I am pretty confident that I can put us up high in the SERPS for the suburb. Is it worthwhile for me to try to optimize for both? Or should I pick one and concentrate on that? Thanks! Quote: Originally Posted by Dr.Marie We currently sell real ...

Hello All, First off, your expertise and advice is always appreciated. I know Google frowns on duplicate content. What about partial duplicate content? What I mean is, I have about 100 pages on my website, one for each location in my area. Each page contains unique content per that area (libraries, tutors available, etc) but the header and initial paragraph is very similar among these pages. Is this a problem? Do you need more details? Best, M It depends on the amount of content on each page in my view, ...

I'm about to design a website for a children's nursery. Just wondering what the law/policy is on children's photo being added as images for the website? Hi I currently work in a secondary school and am sure that the principles will be the same - any image of a child displayed on a website needs to have the parent's consent to be shown and it is also policy never to give full names in any descriptions used. There is a publication from Becta or similar government organisation which gives a good idea of the ...

Hello, My name is Scott Sheldon and I am new to this website. I have recently taken the plunge to start getting into the search engines in Google and have created a website with a word press add on. My website is called sonoma county mortgages . com.The website is about getting a mortgage in Sonoma County. I'm trying to improve the Google search ranking for my wedding photography website, so I'm sure I'll be asking more questions in the future, but I wanted to start with a basic question about my title tag. Here's my current title tag: “LA Wedding Photography | Orange County Wedding Photographer Los Angeles” After doing some research, it seems like more people type “Los Angeles” than “LA”. If I were to flip the positions of “Los Angeles” and “LA” so it looks like this: “Los ...

Hi, I'm very new to php still, so please be gentle. I have a form that collects client data and sends it to a database.
