I'm trying to create an iFrame with a transparent background in both FF and IE. If I don't specify a background color (in the parent page, and the iFrame source page), the iFrame will default to transparent in FF, but displays a white background in IE. I tried adding allowTransparency="true" to the iFrame tag in the parent page, but it had no effect. I then added bgcolor="transparent" to the body tag in the iFrame source page, and it made the iFrame background transparent in IE, but made it blue in FF. Is ...

Hi, * How valuables really are back links from .edu and .org websites, even if there is 0 page rank for the pages providing the backlinks? * Do the backlinks to a page on a website really help even if the page is not linked either to home page or to any other page on the site? Please suggest. Thanks, SEOMOZO Hi, I'm not a seasoned SEO but I'll give my 2 cents. Perhaps it will help others reply also. I did some researching today and found this article that talks about what is believed that Google is doing. If indeed Google is using LSI as the article suggests it explains much of the shuffling around of the SERPS we've all been talking about. http://www.axandra.com/news/newsletter147.htm#facts Great link...I was just reading something very similar. It makes sense. I recently ran a search for ski real estate and found my site in the top 5 out of 7 million pages....almost wet myself I never linked to the ...

Is .edu sites considered more authoritative? If I get a link from a .edu site, which happens to be a university site, how does it contributes towards serps as well as ranking? Thanks for your input. i have read on blogs they are but not really certain how true it is...i don't think it hurts to have one if they content of your site is relevant to the content coming from your .edu incoming page. It's not true. It's just a common myth. Each page is judged on its own merits. The TLD has no effect on that. In ...

Hello I saw a posting a few lines down about images and noticed it said the post was from 2006. I received this list from a friend of mine a few days ago. It is a list of websites of images and royalty free images for commercial use. So I compared both lists and seems most of these sites my friend gave me weren't on that 2006 list. So anyways I figured if it helps someone out cool- I don't want to be held accountable if some of it is bad lol. I am just trying to help out with this list I received. ...
