I'm thinking to buy 2 domain names, one .com and other .com.ve . My question is, if I build my website in the .com domain and redirect the .com.ve domain to the .com one, will the .com.ve have the same Pagerank? and will the .com.ve will appear better in google.co.ve results? If this works, this could be a good strategy to get my company well listed in google and google.co.ve . Has anyone seen this new google search feature? Apparently, it tracks your search history and serves up results based on your searching history? I did a normal google search and I got his message New! Google now personalizes your search results based on your search history. Learn more. What does this mean for the future of google SEO? Hmm ... where are you seeing what you're stating ? Just do a google search for any term. I did a search for the term "dogs" It comes up at the top in highlighted in yellow On ...

Hi, Hi I’m trying to work out why when I type in “The Mornington Peninsula”, our domain, www.themorningtonpeninsula.com which has been up for over a year and is full or useful information about the area still comes in at about page 8. That is only when I use google.com, by default in Australia google.com.au comes up and I get a “don’t you mean themorningtonpeninsula.com.au” which is even more frustrating. I do understand that while themorningtonpeninsula.com.au are paying Google $$$ they ...

Hi guys! It’s my first post here after some searching for an answer. What can you pros and those with experience tell me about Google Reinclusion requests? I’ve been reading a while and can’t get a straight answer. I know Google only want you to submit reinclusion requests if you’ve done something spammy or wrong and have since corrected it. The thing is, I know of anecdotal evidence (and stuff I’ve read in forums) of webmasters submitting sites that have simply disappeared from the index ...

Have I screwed my site up? It’s a bit complicated but in a nutshell, I’ve redesigned my wife’s small business site. Original site pages had HTM extension. New site uploaded with HTML extension and (for stupid and misguided reasons) duplicate HTM pages. Realising the error, I’ve uploaded a 301redirect for htm pages to lead to the html pages. I’ve also made and uploaded a sitemap which shows the latest page extensions (html). At the moment, if you put “dog trainers in cumbria” into Google, my wife’s ...

When I type my site URL in Yahoo site explorer with www it shows different number of links than without www. Can google differs between URL with www and without it? If it true then please give a suggestion on that. Quote: (1) “www” vs. Non-www For sitewide duplicate content, this is probably the biggest culprit. Whether you’ve got bad internal paths or have attracted links and social mentions to the wrong URL, you’ve got both the”www” version and non-www (root domain) version of your URLs ...
