Been reading about tethering to my android phone (ADP1) and have a few questions if someone could help... Santa brought my kid a Sylvania netbook for christmas. (128Mb memory with wifi and bluetooth). It runs Windows CE. I have reviewed several tethering apps, but none I've read so far have Windows CE netbook components/drivers. Is there any tethering program to connect the netbook, through my android phone's 3G to the internet? I also notice tethering often refers to bluetooth or USB connections. Can a ...

Hi. My friend has a Sylvania SYNET07526 netbook. It came with Windows CE, and it's a terrible OS. I'm trying to put either an Android OS, or some other flavor of Linux. I was looking at possibly Android Flux. I don't really know anything about Android, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I appreciate any help.

If so, any advice on how I would accomplish this? Thanks in Advance. Android is a phone OS. That said, it can probably be done with some great difficulty. I have been considering purchasing an Android tablet but then realized that thanks to the Android for x86 development that purchasing a netbook and installing android on it (something like and EeePC) that I would get the best of all worlds. A netbook has a real keyboard and battery life that is insane (my first EeePC 1005 lasted about 12 hours on a single charge) but also is small and portable like a tablet. Does anyone have any experience using android on a Netbook (good or bad). Please let me know any ...

I've seen a few Nextbooks at Walmart. Are they any good? Think if you're buying from Walmart should be OK. It's not like ordering directly from China, you do have consumer rights and protection. The tablet probably works, but don't expect too much in way of good support, like updated ROMs or rooting or whatever, if it comes with 4.0 ICS and not 4.3 JB, then that's what you have to live with, and the quality might only be mediocre as well, it could lag and crash occasionally. Do you know if the one Walmart ...

I have an aging iPhone 3GS (2.5 yrs old) that's getting rather slow and an aging (3+ years old) asus eee netbook that's in a similar situation - I'm wanting to replace both and am seeking advice. For replacing the iPhone, I've liked the Samsung Galaxy S3 generally for the larger size screen. I will of course wait for the lg nexus 4 to be revealed Monday before making any decisions, but am fairly set on a larger format screen for the next phone. For replacing the netbook, I'm leaning towards an android ...
