I would really love to have access to my work email without needing access to OWA (like Touchdown). I believe the iPhone has this capability, unless their method does in fact rely on OWA. Why can't it be done for Android? My IT department simply refuses to give access to OWA without being in the VPN, so that ruins Touchdown for me. Try using the server: red001.mail.microsoftonline.com and username: full email address and fill in everything else as told by your IT department. Hopefully that helps. Id ...

Hi, I need a good email program to connect with an exchange server. I was told the email program must support OWA. Can anyone recommend a good one with push email? Thanks! Juggernaut Touchdown is very good The stock app on my Gingerbread 2.3.5 phone works with Exchange 2010 OWA/EWS. Have you tried it, and if so, what settings have you tried?

Just got Evo 4g Shift. I like the original Mail and Calendar app that came with the phone but have problems with the Activesync to Microsoft Exchange. I cannot get all my emails to sync and the majority of my subfolders in my inbox are not downloaded to the phone. I have gone into settings to get all my emails synced and still doesn't do it. I have downloaded free trial of Touchdown but I actually like the original Mail and Calendar apps on the Shift better. The shift comes with Android 2.2. I've heard ...

Okay, I have an Exchange 2007 server with Activesync and OWA running. OWA works great. Activesync works great. I can hook up any droid phone to this system using corporate sync and it works great! I was posed a question that i cannot for the life of me figure out... I changed my question... How does Corporate Sync get through our companies firewall? Why does it just magically work? what is going on behind the scenes? Thanks, dogdaynoon I find it odd that no one knows how our apps work but we just click ...

I have hosted exchange service through Rackspace. I'm trying to configure K9 to work with my online account, and can't for the life of me, even after scouring the web, figure out what is wrong. Error message: cannot connect to server. (I/O exception) Here's my configuration as it works in Outlook server: activesync.mex02.emailsrvr.com user name: rgarland_ekaru.com domain: mex02.mlsrvr.com owa: https://owa.mex02.emailsrvr.com/owa/ Can anyone recommend how these settings translate into the K9 settings? hi ...

What email app will connect to Exchange (not OWA) and allow deletes on the handset to NOT sync (i.e. not delete the source)? I have a user who wants to delete mail on his Samsung S3 as he goes but not have it affect his Outlook / OWA. I played with K9 (but it is OWA based for Exchange) and Touchdown (and a few others) but can not find an app that does not sync email deletes. Your assistance would be appreciated. bump

First and foremost - I cannot add my exchange account to my personal devices below. It's against company policy. That said... I have both a droid 2 and a galaxy tab and used to be able to log in to outlook web access using the web browser or dolphin and act like I was sitting at my computer. Now, for some reason, I can log in and see my inbox but not all messages show up. At any point in time, not all my current messages are listed and there seems to be no method to which do show and which don't. The ...
