Hi All, I have searched this forum to find out info about using Sprint's iPhone 4 CDMA overseas. But all I could find was unlocking and flashing threads/posts. So forgive me if my question/query has already been answered! Nevertheless, I was given this (used) iPhone from a friend as a gift. It's legal and in good standing with Sprint. Now, I am able to use the phone via my country's CDMA network and its working ok (calls, send SMS texts, wifi, etc). However, I cannot use my networks 3G data service. Here ...

I work in Vietnam and I am looking for a VOIP program that is REALLY a VOIP program. Seems that most of these programs are just a scam... Skype will not work from here. Iskoot will dial a US Number to connect to Syype so I can pay Skype to connect my call ! What a Joke. So far it looks like I will have to wait for Google Voice to start working but again they might do the same. True VOIP is this: WHEN YOU ARE CONNECTED BY WIFI OVER THE INTERNET TO THE USA THEN YOU SHOULD ONLY PAY 1 OR 2 CENTS A MINUTE TO ...

Is there an app to be able to use your hotspot as an "internet cafe" where people can pay by the hour or mb? (I don't live in the US) Better to ask your cell phone carrier for that information. Very unlikely. Even if it didn't violate your terms of service with your provider, you wouldn't have the bandwidth to support multiple connections and the built-in hotspot probably wouldn't allow more than one or two anyway. But yeah, check with your carrier to see what they permit/have available. The Android ...

Hello there. I've currently got an iPad2 which is largely used around the house by the wife, and by me when I want to watch football at work via Sky Go over 3G. I love the look of the Galaxy Note (released Nov 3rd here in the UK?) and I wondered, if it's presumably unlocked would anything stop me using the same UK 3 microsim from the iPad in the Galaxy Note (with a caddy if the Note is full size sim) purely for 3G data? Not interested in the Note as a phone, my works BlackBerry performs that role, but I ...
