I've just downloaded the Facebook SDK. I can see that I can do log in, get friend list..., but i don't know if it is possible to make iPhone games that can communicate with Facebook games like "Happy Farm", "Farm Town"... (I mean iPhone versions of Happy Farm, Farm Town...). Did anyone did this before? Is it possible?

Hello everyone, we created a new game, Candy Farm. Our inspiration comes from the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you could travel to all the factories of Candy Farm in US. Candy Farm is a line drawing puzzle game that you may have to beat your brains out to find a solution. Sounds horrible? Don’t worry the start is pretty easy, the difficulty of the game will increase with your upgrading. As the level completed you will find so much fun. The goal of this game is to get each candy from the ...

I implemented Facebook Connect in my app but I did the simple way described here which sends me to Safari at the beginning of the session. I then tried the Login button and that is cool with the button and all, but it still sends me to a Safari page, which is hideous. How would I add the Login button and make it open a dialog like in the Doodle Jump login? If you have Doodle Jump and want to test it out go to options, log out and log back in. You'll see you can login from within the app without having to ...

Does anyone know if or when android market will get the app for farmville like the iphone does? That iPhone app came out about the same time my interest in Farmville ebbed. Perfect timing! But no, haven't heard anything myself. The day we get Farmville & Frontierville is the official day I'll never put this thing down. Until then, Pineapple Farm & Papaya Farm aren't too bad.. not nearly as detailed & in depth, but it's got the same basic idea. (: I hope so... I like Farmville. I would like to have the ...

As a marketing technique for something else, I'm working on a game that gives people fortunes. The idea was to make the thing likeable on Facebook of course, so that it could spread virally. I just realized though, that it will spread alot better if people get the option to share their fortune on Facebook. The basic function of the page is to use random number generators to choose and display 3 images as the person's fortune. But sharing that fortune as-is on Facebook would be tricky, if it's even doable. ...

Anybody know of any games that link up with the simple games on facebook? For instance, on my ipod touch I could play Lexulous. Just trying to find something simple to kill time in secretary of state lines and office meetings that I can play against my co-workers. I'd also like to know this? With Flash 10.1 coming to android soon (Droid already supporting) you may be able to play the other games including Poker etc. Could someone please confirm if i'd be able to play Texas Holdem Poker on facebook since ...

I work as an SEO analyst for an e-commerce company specializing in homeopathic, natural remedies. We have only a modest amount of link-building in place (and are currently working on some new avenues regarding that). We have a PR5, and we do our SEO in house, no black hat methods, directory submissions, etc. Everything we run is in page SEO. Me have a blog with modest numbers as well. So, what I am curious to see is that our numbers have taken DRAMATIC hits in regards to our natural/organic search. Between ...

I'm pretty new to the app game and to be honest don't know the difference between the precise Bot farms and incentivized installs. I know that bot farms aren't allowed but what about incentivized installs? I'm thinking about pursuing campaigns with Gnome Escape and Featurepoints (sdk required) but am not sure if these are legal in Apples eyes. Am I right in saying that the two mentioned services are incentivized install services? If so are they allowed? What is an example of a bot farm? @appreneur, you ...
