Hi, I'm trying to fix a website which exhibits some very strange behaviour. A significant portion of users (20% or so) are reporting a very slow download speed from this site, 100 times below the norm for their connection. It seems to be related to their ISP and our website. The website in question is www.superpea.com. The website is hosted on server: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 RD on Rackspace's cloud and uses Apache. I happen to have 2 connections with different ISPs installed here, and one of them ...

Earlier this year Microsoft went to a platform of issuing critical updates once a month, typically within the first few days of the month except when the need is urgent. This has allowed them more time to write patches that can be tested more rigorously and less prone to error. If you haven't checked Windows update by the 7th of the ...

But I don't bother scanning for viruses after I've installed the program. Can someone please tell me the answer to these questions. Is it enough to just scan the compacted program I've downloaded? Is there any point scanning the program again after it has ben unzipped? Is there any point scanning it a third time after it has been installed? Well if its packaged ...

Below is Hijackthis file. Seem to have problem with virus infection. Have done multiple scans but whenever I leave my computer on with remote control server on, something seems to infect system. I will notice that the run command window comes on and then something or someone types something in this window. Once I saw that it tried to execute a file called mdn.exe, another time it was msnhome.exe. I think I removed both files but may still be something in the registry which I am reluctant to mess with. ...

I did a system restore back to yesterday morning and got everything back to the way it was. Hi, me again. The graphics card went on my old laptop forcing me to get a new one . Bought a HP and been trying to remove all the rubbish they put on there. Anyway to the point. I usually just use AVG on it's own, you should use only 1 anti-virus to prevent them conflicting correct? I do then have Spybot- i use imunisation and scanner only and Adaware- use scanner only. However, i've been asked to run 3 sets of scans for my Internet banking: http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner ...
