Heres why: The standard android widigets and the ...

OK. I was wrong, the corporate store in Fresno does have S4s in stock and they had two working demos, a black one and white one. I went to see it in person because I wanted to find out if it would fit my Samsung Infuse dock which I use with my S3. It doesn't because although the speced dimensions are the same or even a fraction smaller, the less rounded corners push the outer dimensions at the corners to be a lot bigger than the S3. But the real deal killer is the screen brightness. Side by side with my S3 ...

Hi, I was at the Apple Store yesterday and took the opportunity to take a look at a project draft I'm working on. I'm running a somewhat indigo-blue background with a 50% opacity black background for my content. Well, this site looked dark as crap on Safari on the Mac computer at the Apple Store. This really sucks because on my laptop screen, it looks just just fine on IE, Firefox, and Safari. Anyone here have experience with color compatibility? Is there a method to test this? Was this issue because it ...

When I am biking it is hard to see the screen cause it is so sunny outside. So I am looking for an app to make the screen brighter then the phone's maximum factory setting since the phone is on it's brightest setting.

For the test, I used some professional light measuring equipment (my DSLR). I captured an image at F/2.8, ISO 400, at 0 EV. Maxed out brightness on the Note 2, with Auto adjust screen tone off (important). I used a completely white picture shot at the same distance. Before update: Shutter speed 1/125s After update: Shutter speed 1/500s! That is exactly 2 full stops. Or 4 times the original brightness. Now, 400% sounds like a lot, like it would blind you. I don't want to create an over-expectation. It's ...

is their a way or app that can make my screen brighter but dont waste batter that much so i want my screen bright but save battery help Hey there Jasen welcome I don't think there is! I usually put mine on auto and it dims out to save battery faster. (Thread moved into Android Applications) OP, there's really three choices here. Either crank up your brightness and deal with shorter battery life, or dim the screen to extend battery life. Auto brightness is the closest you're going to come across to "split ...

My battery only seems to last 7 hours. Brand new Galaxy Note II on AT&T. Was there a kind of error with the last multi window update? If so, how can I fix it? I browsed the net a little, played a game for a bit. A few texts. Hardly anything unusual. http://www.imgur.com/WFzfQ.png http://www.imgur.com/GFdtX.png Maybe this will help diagnose things. Normal? Or a problem? Hi Thats not so good. I get about 17hrs 100-15% with quite heavy use, but I use Juice Defender to manage the power use. I don't let it get ...

I want a low cost tablet soon. The main contenders are the Nexus tabs (1st gen) or the galaxy tab 2s. Its pretty much just gona be used as a home media device/browser/maybe some gaming so 10" would probably be ideal for that but the 10"s are far more expensive. Does that extra 3" make a huge difference for what i want it for? I prefer the 7" form factor. Large enough for media, but small enough to still be portable if you feel like taking it along. And I'll always recommend a nexus (typing from mine now) ...

I know there are lots of apps that let you remotely control your PC's mouse pointer using your Android phone/tablet, but most of them turn your phone into a 'touchpad', like the pad on a laptop, I believe this is called 'relative touch'. I would like to use my phone as a "Wacom" tablet, a graphics drawing tablet, for Photoshop on my PC. I believe what I need is called "absolute touch", where pressing the same spot on the phone always presses the same X/Y location on the PC. Anyone know of any such apps? I ...

So today I got the chance to have the girl at the VZW store show me their training unit.(Maybe she thought I was cute) It wasn't activated and it wasn't even running WiFi from the store. I got to play around with it for a few minutes and from what I saw and felt it looks great. My concern is the screen. It looked from what I tell a lot better than the Razr's screen, but since it wasn't linked to network I couldn't bring up a website to compare the two...just wondering for those who have this or who have ...
