My wife likes to use MSN Explorer instead of Outlook Express or Outlook. The only problem is that lately everytime she signs on, she gets an error message that says "Your current security settings prohit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly." When you click "okay" in the error dialog box, it completely closes down MSN Explorer. You can not go a step further. Very frustrating. We only get this error message when running MSN Explorer for the Browser or Email. ...

With the release of XP SP2 it is assumed that there are going to be multiple issues crop up. Before you post a new thread regarding an SP2 related issue please follow these steps first. Click the OZZU SEARCH link at the top of any page (or click this - http://www.ozzu.com/search.php ). In the Search Query section type in: XP SP2 (*note - the search is not case sensitive so it doesn't matter if you use caps or not - you get the same results). Choose the option to "Search for all terms". In the Search Option ...

Had a problem with ie6.0 (fully updated) . Could not change a security setting. Tried to reset to default levels but high security setting would not change. I tried to install 7.0 beta but installation failed. Used troubleshooting guide for 7.0 but could not 7.0 install to work. Tried to go back to 6.0 but install said it found a newer version and therefore would not install. Actually this message also appeared when I tried to re-install 6.0 before I tried to install 7.0. Running XP Home edition but ...

How do you guys test for Safari and IE5 from within Windows XP? The only two methods I can think of are run another OS emulator or use a web site service that screen captures your sites in the various browsers. Is there any other way? The best way that I know how to test Safari via XP is through iCapture. It's a free (last time I checked) website that lets you see certain webpages through they eyes of a mac. As for IE5, which I have no idea, so I did some quick research for you... From devx.com... For some ...

Hello: I have seen other posts similar to this but not exactly. There is one computer (out of many in my home) that when it tries to open my website (drinkgifts.com), Internet Explorer 6 automatically shuts down, with no error message. It shows the black background for a second but then shuts down. I have scanned for viruses and spyware but this has not corrected the problem. I have also modified the website thinking that some of the animation, etc. was somehow not compatible with IE 6 XP SP2 with no ...

Hi! Please help! I am a rather inexperienced user of Windows XP Professional and am having problems with Task Manager. After logging in for a while (this period could be quite random, it could be after a few minutes, a few hours, or nothing happens for the whole day), when I needed to launch any program (e.g. Word), after double-clicking on the icon, the cursor will have that little "sand dial" and then nothing happens. When I try to initiate Task Manager it just would not start up, I would try to start ...
