I am using the following method to handle the playing of a synthesized memory buffer. Why can't I reference things like self in the scope of this method, in order to call another method? See highlighted row below. static OSStatus playbackCallback(void *inRefCon, AudioUnitRenderActionFlags *ioActionFlags, const AudioTimeStamp *inTimeStamp, UInt32 inBusNumber, UInt32 inNumberFrames, AudioBufferList *ioData) { cout<<"index = "<<_index<<endl; cout<<"numBuffers = "<<ioData->mNumberBuffers<<endl; int ...

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help. I am trying to decipher a buffer so I can verify that I understand how it works. It is a render callback that takes samples from an audio file that is referenced by the object musicPlayerState. The original code walks through the samples one at a time and copies them over to the buffer using memcpy in a for loop. musicPlaybackState->samplePtr stores the position of the audio file. currentframe is declared globally and initialised to zero. What I am trying to do is ...

Hello, I'm using the Audio IO Unit to do audio output. It's working great, except for when I try to change the pitch I'm outputting. When I try that, it sounds choppy. Below is my code. Notice static float ppp is the pitch. Does anyone have experience with the Audio IO Unit that could lend a hand in this mystery? Thanks! Hello, I am developing an app that is getting PCM data from recoding device -> compress it to iLBC format -> writes it to singleton -> reads from singleton -> decompress it back to PCM and write to playback device. I believe that compression works well, tho decompression is not working properly. At first PCM buffer is 1024 bytes, after comression iLBC has 38 bytes, after attempt to decompress data buffer has 2 bytes. My class for compression: -(void)convertBuffer:(unsigned char**) stream size:(int ...

We created a US website back in the beginning of the year. A few months later, our Japan team cloned it onto a .jp domain. For some reason, when I search for our site in Google in the US, the Japan site ranks at the top even though I am in the US. What can I do to put the US site back on top? I was going to set up a 301 redirect from the Japan site to ours, but they may want to use the URL in the future. Thanks in advance. Hi, I created this page just for fun. I usually create pages that have top banner, left or right links etc. this time i used something completly different and thought to give it a review shot. thanks http://www.kanju.jp The design is good. Don’t you have accessibility Laws in Japan? Even so I would recommend adding ALT tags to your buttons. If your from the USA read Section 508 http://www.webaim.org/standards/508/checklist hi, what are accessibility laws? anyway im not in japan current;y :p It looks ...

Does anyone have any data or statistics on getting Google PR for an IDN? We have thrown up an IDN in August & added several links to it. Other sites that were new started to show PR with the new update but own IDN site showed absolutely nothing. One of our IDN's show up natively in Google so we know that google is actually able to correctly show IDNs natively in search results. If anyone has anything to add please do. And we own only Japanese IDN that display the Japanese characters in the URL. In the ...
