Hi. I created an RSS feed for my website but, although it validates, there are two things thrown up that I don't know how to deal with. One is guid elements and the other is rel="self"... see the validation report and the rss feed .xml below (I removed a few of the items, just to make it shorter for on here). I am looking for step by step instructions of how to do the guid elements and how to sort the rel="self" thing. Validation report 1. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?> 2. 3. <rss ...

I have a very annoying problem, which is rather hard to explain in a few words, and so I haven't found anything similar on the net to help me. I basically can not watch mp4 movies on my X10 mini (2.1) reliably. The movie starts by playing just fine, but after a while (often less than a minute) the video just randomly stops. This happens with every player I've tried, on any movie, streamed or from my sdcard. After I exit the player any movie I try to watch afterwards will display the first frame only. I can ...

I am working on a project that uses audio files that have a very basic form of encoding applied to them as a form of encryption. Personally I think it's kind of pointless, but it's required. Anyway, I am having trouble decoding the files. The original encoding was done in C# and appears to just be a byte for byte replacement using a byte key array with shifted values. Currently, I am opening the file and putting the data contents into a byte array like this: fileToOpen = [NSString ...

Hi, I almost have no hair left on my head trying to figure out how to do apache mod rewrites in my .htaccess file in order to use the short url feature for search engine friendliness. So, before I pull out one more hair on my head ... are there any opinions as to how well Google spiders a dynamic site? One with the long urls and things like "?" in the urls? Am I obsessing over this for nothing? Will Google and/or other search engines now be able to spider a site using these long urls? Thanks, Google crawls ...

Hello WDF! I'm having a little bit of trouble with this little bit of jQuery that I have written. I have two sliders and want them to be working together. Currently, each slider has a value, and then add's the two value's together and then divides it by two. See jQuery below: // Javascript Document jQuery(document).ready(function($) { var slider1 = $("#slider").slider({ max: 420, min: 0, step: 20, change: function(event, ui) { $("#s2").html(ui.value); $("#s2") }, stop:Calculate }); var slider2 = ...
