I have a website I am designing and am the webmaster of: http://www.remindandreplenish.com. My partner alerted me of an issue with the site navigation when using AOL with Mac OSX. When you visit the site, you will see four "tables" each for a specific filter type in the center content section. When those "boxes" are clicked, a drop-down section (a <span> tag containing the selection boxes for the specific filter models) for the corresponding filter type is displayed. What the site should do, is to ...

In another thread, a number of people said they were seeing somewhat different results, and some of us though this might be due to search personalization and we recommended the various things one can do to make sure search is not personalized. Yet people were still seeing different results even with personalized search definitely turned off (e.g. with pws=0 in the search URL). I was skeptical and asked for a keyword example. JoshZ suggested "butterfly walves." I tried it and became a believer. And the more ...

Really hope someone can help me. Yesterday i went in the AOL technology forums to see how i could block a single site. The host said that i could edit a file called "hosts" which is in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc. I tested it on miniclip.com however it never worked so i changed the file back. Since then i have not been able to visit any sites in IE or Firefox. In firefox i get a timed out pop up box and in IE i get a "Cannot find server, this page can not be displayed..." Some one gave me a copy of ...

I would appreciate any feedback on my site. This is my first attempt at creating a personal website and I wanted to keep it simple. I feel that it might be too simple and not great to look at. This link shows what my site currently looks like. It is really simple. http://homepage.mac.com/sgjohnson/ This is what I am working on now: http://homepage.mac.com/sgjohnson/test/ I feel that even the second link is a little too simple. I appreciate any advice that anyone can give me, good or bad. Also if anyone ...

Hi all. I just finished putting together a small portfolio site for my web development - got it looking good in Safari, IE for Mac, and IE for Windows. However, the positioning of elements doesn't appear the same in Mozilla for Mac/Win, Netscape, or Firefox. Here's the site. http://homepage.mac.com/slightly99 You may also need to see the CSS: http://homepage.mac.com/slightly99/30throad.css If you view the site using a non-Mozilla browser, the four thumbnails at the top of the page are all contained in the ...

I was hired to design and build a webpage for a small consulting buisness. This is an up-and-coming buisness, with no former webpage or even E-Contact. I designed the page using a simple dreamweaver template, and filling in the information provided to me. I have tested the webpage in 3 different browsers. Internet Explorer, Firefox, and AOL. The pages load fine in both IE and Firefox, but in AOL there is a large space before the text of the page starts. The site is www.whjconsultingservices.com. An example ...
