My site is currently a .com. I would like to attract more Canadian customers, since I am based in Canada, and have thought about buying the .ca of my site. However, I'm not sure how to create that site. Currently I have CDN versions of my pages on my site and they're disallowed by my robot.txt. to avoid duplicate content. So if I purchased the .ca, how should I create it?Allow the .ca obviously to be indexed, change it enough so it's not a duplicate of my .com but can I just have the links within the .ca ...

Suddenly, we are no longer appearing on google.com. is it possible that .ca domain name rank better on google.ca than google.com????????????????? We still rank on the first page on google.ca but not on google.com. Thank you very much I'm pretty sure that sites can rank differently in different countries regardless of their extension (I have a friend ...

Today in my log I had ONE google.com search and ELEVEN google.ca searches. Yes, my site is hosted by a Canadian firm. But only now, I see what is going on: I went to Google.ca and when I asked for any of my title tags, NOTHING shows in the first 40-50 pages. BUT, when I clicked where it says: "Canadian Pages" then my title tag for my index page is on PAGE THREE. Other title tags for other pages are on page ONE. Believe me, I will ALWAYS use my Canadian hosting company. There seems to be NO sandbox delay ...

I seem to be coming back in google.ca but not google.com. Could this be a sign of "good" things to come? sure. usualy it is easier to rank well in a relevant regional site than a global one. if you are trending up in one you will usually start to trend up in the other. Right from the start my sites seems to have been more solidly indexed in .ca than all the other Gs put together Why's that then ? Too bad I don't/can't ship to Canada There shouldn't be a difference in the amount of pages you have indexed ...

I'm working on a site thats located in Canada...did the seo work, saw the changes, emailed the position report and he's seeing different results than I'm giving. Here is my scenario. I do not want to have two separate phones. My android phone has a MN phone number that I need to keep. My new job requires that I have a CA phone number. I can hard forward the CA phone number to my MN phone....but....when I'm making outbound calls for work I need the CA number to be passed over the Caller ID so my customers see the CA number. Conversely, I want the MN number to passed when I make outbound calls in MN. Is there an app/program that will allow me to toggle which number ...

I have a client site that can be access by .com or by .ca and both are the same IP, same files, etc. etc. Pardon my ignorance, but I'm assuming it would be better to focus on .ca since they are a Canadian company. The question is, is a 301 redirect the only required change in order to make this happen? I'm pretty sure both .com and .ca are being individually indexed, which can't be a good thing for duplicate content penalties.
