Hey. I'll be going to HK this April and I was wondering if they sell android phones there? If so, are they fairly new? I'm hoping to buy the nexus s there. And if the galaxy s II is out, maybe that. Also, are android phones cheaper there? Around how much would it cost in us dollars there? I haven't been in HK for a while, but the total models sold in Hong Kong is more than 2X the models sold in the entire US. Hong Kong is the heaven where a mobile fan dies and goes to when he is judged virtuous. Yes, you ...

When you zoom into a neigbourhood, you will see a tone of small to large businesses listed on the actual map of google maps (like tim hortons with a cofee cup, Radom nature store with a shoppoing bag.. etc) right where they are in a plaza. Those icons depend on what type of business is registered at that particular address. if you ...

We have com.hk domain names but our target is not only the Hong Kong Market but the International Market. Will it effects our 'Geotargetting' if we will host our site outside HK, specifically in US? Am I correct to say that once I did it, we will lessen the chances to be indexed in google.com.hk but increase the chances in google.com? Because according to what I have read in this forum, google.com index more of US-based website??? Originally Posted by itnecor We have com.hk domain names but our target is ...

I was a beginner of seo ,I was plan buy a domain name . I find that there are a lot type of domain name like .com , .cn ,.net, .gov, .hk, .com.cn , .hk, .de , .hk etc . my questions is does these domain name type is equal friendly to google engine ? or some of them are more friendly ? They're all equally friendly seo wise, once you fix the auto-geo-targeting issue in Webmaster Tools. But...... get the domain extension that appeals most to your target market. If you're going after the US, get a .com. If ...

so I must be losing it. I can't figure out how to get street view working. I type in the name of a place that's suppose to be supported, pull up, and there is no street view option. Great Barrier Reef for example. What am I missing? Street view depends on Google driving around taking pictures of all over the world. Not every place you want to see is covered yet. Barrier reef has been covered (thanks for reminding me AND Galapagus islands!) Have you installed the separate street view app? Is your phone ...

I know we androdians are "manufactured" from birth with Google as our feeding bottle. But Ive been checking out BING for awhile and finding I like it a lot. Google seem to be getting into things that you have to manually opt out of instead of sending emails askimg if you like to "opt in" . Several other reasons I am comsidering using BING more. What about you guys (cough!..oops!), I mean , what about you fellow androidianites, which DO you prefer and the poll is for which do you use most? Google. Mainly ...

Hi my friends. I am on holidays in Europe at the moment and when I travel I do some of my own geotargetting experiments/observations. Just thort I would share some things I have been noticing. 1) Any geotargetting advantage seems to disappear very quickly as compared to the benefit of having the location name on you site if the location name is included in the search term. 2) Geotargetting advantage seems to be greater with weaker sites. Strong sites win SERPs across the board. Weak sites can do much ...
