I am looking for a free Android app that will stream lots of data continuously and max out an LTE connection. I know I could stream music but that doesn't max out the bandwidth. Any suggestions? Torrent app. Check your TOS before using though. I would prefer one within Verizon's TOS or at least within the terms of FCC regs for their purchase of the LTE band But with Torrent wouldn't I have to constantly pick a new file to download? What I was thinking might work would be to stream video, like a TV show feed

Hi there, I've got a string: "02:39AM" which I want to end up being 02:39. And if it was, for example "02:39PM", I'd want it to be "14:39". So, what I've done is: NSString *timeString = [tideDictionary valueForKey:@"time"]; NSDateFormatter *df = [[NSDateFormatter alloc] init]; [df setDateFormat:@"hh:mma"]; NSLog(@"time as NSDate: %@", [df dateFromString:timeString]); But I'm getting all sorts of weird values.... Any reccomendations? Cheers, George acegames wrote: » Something like this should do what you ...

Anyone know anything about having a MySQL Session system, which is used instead of the php sessions. so meaning that you have a session handler that would store the sessions into a mysql database instead of a session cookie. PHP Forum Boards like phpbb and maybe even this one use that type of session system. So does anyone have a clue on how to create something like this.... any ideas would be great thanks They use PHP Sessions and store the session ID in the database simply so you can track them. Here is ...

I'm designing an iPhone app and I want to update one small part of it from a central server. I just want to grab a few lines of text and photo. What's the best way to retrieve this info from the iPhone? Should I set up an RSS feed? Just but the plain text and photo URL there in an easy to parse format? I'm a novice web developer so I'm really not sure. Thanks in advance for the advice! I am doing the same thing. If you only want to retrieve text, I think XML is a solution. You can have a look here ...

Is there a way to add an image to a UIActionSheet? Thank you Thanks very much for that code. Very helpful. However, this isn't doing what I had hoped. I'm implementing the actionsheet UIActionSheet *alert = [[UIActionSheet alloc] initWithTitle:nil delegate:self cancelButtonTitle:nil destructiveButtonTitle:nil otherButtonTitles:@"Yes",@"No",nil]; [alert showInView:self.view]; [alert release]; The delegate method adds the image and pushes the buttons lower. The buttons are so low, in fact, that you can't see ...

OK I was testing my project for leaks and one of my XIB files has a UIDatePicker and it showed that it was leaking bad! So I tore apart my .h and .m file for over an hour taking away things until I had like no code other then viewDidLoad... It was still showing it was leaking!?!?!? I thought maybe something odd was going on with my Instruments so I restarted my computer and still the same thing. I opened a new project (Named it iHateUIDatePickers...) and just added a UIDatePicker with no code and tested it ...
