Can anyone see whats wrong with this code. Its a processlogin page the problem Im having is its letting people log in when they arnt registered. $rs = mysql_select_db("memberlogin", $conn); Why are you setting so many cookies? Also, it is not a good idea to insert the username and password in to a cookie. If they aren't registered, How can they login This directs them back to the login page if their info isn't found in the database, there's nothing wrong with it. $username = "Guest"; header("Location: ...

I am working on a new template for my website and I want a login form above the header and rather than trying to code a module position there, I was thinking I could just put the login code there instead. So, the code I've got is as follows: <form action="/index.php" method="post" name="login" id="form-login" > <fieldset class="input"> <p id="form-login-username"> <label for="modlgn_username">Username</label><br /> <input id="modlgn_username" type="text" name="username" class="inputbox" alt="username" ...

I have a computer with Windows XP that does not allow either a guest or an administrator. Moreover, it does not let me in. I used to log into my computer without a username and password, and then all of a sudden yesterday, it asked me for my username and password. I obviously do not know what those are because I never logged into my PC that way, just went on right to my desktop. I went all over the place trying to figure out why both the Guest and Administrator accounts do not work. Any ideas? is this a ...

Hi, please could you tell me if it is possible to ask users to login/register after a few page views whilst still letting search engines to crawl a website? Would this harm the website's search engine positions? Thanks Yes jsteele is correct. Bear in mind though that people can still view content via the cached pages and also that your user agent can be easily spoofed so you can view a site as if you were Googlebot. It would possibly be better to server up content based on number of page views and browser ...

I'm new to Android and have tried a few apps (such as FoxFi) without success. I am looking for suggestions on how to achieve the objective below with a Wi-fi-only Nexus 7 (if even possible - though I thought anything was supposed to be possible on android). As many of you know, too often hotels charge for the internet service that should be standard these days. Often they charge per device. So, the goal is to set up a hotspot to share that connection. Devices like the Apple Airport Express work great if no ...
