I tried that..it works for inbox but then when it starts checking the outbox part it never works..any ideas? Try un-ticking the 'require sign-in' option. Also make sure you leave 'security type' on none. Quote: Originally Posted by zewm Try un-ticking the 'require sign-in' option. Also make sure you leave 'security type' on none. Due to a recent move to a location that offers only AT&T's UVerse Internet service, I now have an att.net Email account. I've set it up in K9 Mail, but only partially. Can someone tell me what the correct incoming and outgoing server settings and port #s should be? The ones I chose aren't working, and no Emails are being sent or received. Try the info in this link. https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/39427/~/droid---common-email-settings

Hi. I'm just curious, is it possible to somehow send an sms to a computer and have it respond to that phone. I'm not sure what language it'll use but I think it's possible with PHP. If anyone has any info on this, please direct me to some resources. Any comments appreciated. Thanks in advance! sms technology seems similar to the mail protocol. I remember sending sms through and email-like server sms.SP.com using phone_number@SP.com as the to field. this was a few years back... some SP's have blocked other ...

My phone keeps MMS sending me an email over and over again. I had emailed me a picture about 2 days ago, received it; And now I receive the same message (sent from 832xxxxxxx@mms.att.net) about every four hours. I have deleted the text message, but it still keeps sending. I have also checked my email's outbox and sent, even though it says it was sent from a mms address. Help! Are you sure it's sending a new message each time? It sounds like the message is sitting on the exchange server and is still marked ...

Sorry if the title is confusing. I am trying a simple app. I'd like to have the user enter a phone number, the press a button to have that phone number added to the beginning of an email address. Basically, so you can send an SMS via email. I am very new to this, so any help would be appreciated. My code is posted below. After the number is entered, when I press the button, it doesn't open mail.app any more. It worked fine without trying to add the user entered number, but it now just changes the phone ...

I just want to simply forward a text message to an email address (preferably using my default gmail account). How can I do this? I've tried with both the default messaging app and handcent. Both have a forward feature, but it only works to forward to another phone #. I found a few apps that claim to automatically forward incoming texts to an email but that isn't what I want either. Download "SMS Backup" from the Market. Auto sends SMS to your GMAIL account to a separate SMS folder, and not your gmail inbox ...
