I have heard a lot about SEO for firefox. Mainly because I just got done reading the updated SEOBook by A. Wall. What do you think about it in regards to a useful tool? Do you have to download Mozilla first and use their server or can you do it in IE? It seems like you would have to download and use Mozilla. Anyone used it? Comments on it? I'd like to take a second and promote a few Firefox extensions that make the lives of SEOs and Webmasters everywhere alot easier. I know alot of people will tell you otherwise, but SE's DO like code that works. And part of that process is being able to find errors, and develop your web sites in less time. If you have clean, small overcode for your code, Google can find your keywords quicker. Let's examine a few good extensions that make this possible: First of all, if you don't have Firefox 1.0.7, get it ...

I guess the title pretty much says it all, but I was wondering if it's better to use dashes (-) or underscores (_) when creating page URLs for Google optimization. I noticed that many higher ranking sites for my keywords have, for example, a domain name that has dashes: (www.online-poker-winner.com) but then use underscores for the pages connected to it (online-poker-winner.com/win_at_poker_tournaments.htm). Any thoughts on which method is better? -Kevin- dashes (-) Here is your answer: Underscores vs. ...

Hey Guys, I will want you to review my first web project. Thank You http://www.nationofchrist.com You have a lot of work to do. It's obvious that you only looked at your site in Internet Explorer when designing it. Download some other browsers like Firefox, Netscape and Opera and have a look at it in those. Your Intro Flash does not display in Firefox (and I assume any other Mozilla-based) browser because you didn't include the <embed> code necessary. You included it in your main page header and that works ...

I prefer to use Mozilla firefox. Can I use any plugin to check the dofollow or nofollow site? Originally Posted by JsTech I prefer to use Mozilla firefox. Can I use any plugin to check the dofollow or nofollow site? Not site, but you can use the "NoDoFollow" add-on to do this (just Google "firefox add on for nofollow" and you'll get a list of them) Comments on this post DarrenHaye → agrees: You're too kind answering this, it's such a bs question which he already knew the answer to.

I have a website where all links to pages are re-routed through a main page like this: http://<sitename>.com/?page=members http://<sitename>.com/?page=forum However it is really this: http://<sitename>.com/index.php?page=members http://<sitename>.com/index.php?page=forum Is there anyway I can make it so if they type in either of the 2nd set of links, it doesn't work, and if they type in the first set of links it does work? I'm aware you can call all .html files as .php through apache. But I don't want to. ...

In terms of page titles, does it matter which way the company name and page title are listed? For example : Microsoft - Windows 2000 - Mozilla Firefox Microsoft - MSN Live - Mozilla Forefox etc. etc. Or is it better to list them like this : Windows 2000 - Microsoft - Mozilla Firefox MSN Live - Microsoft - Mozilla Firefox etc. etc. I've heard search engines will see repetition and ignore pages if they all BEGIN with the same text, regardless of whether each page has a different title in general. I prefer ...
