I'm a Canadian developer - this is my first month in the App Store, so I'm trying to decide how I should set up my banking. I have US dollar and Canadian dollar bank accounts. In the past, when dealing with US companies, I always had them pay me in US dollars into my US bank account. Then I could use a currency exchange service to change my money into Canadian (this allows me to get a much better rate than is available at my bank). So my question is whether I should have Apple send me US dollars or ...

I just saw a news item posted on the Dev Center. It says "You Can Now Choose the Currency For Your App Store Payments". What does that mean exactly? stanny wrote: » I just saw a news item posted on the Dev Center. It says "You Can Now Choose the Currency For Your App Store Payments". What does that mean exactly? You can receive App Store payments in the currency of your choice. So, now instead of having your bank have to exchange, you can just receive the money in euros or GBP instead of USD. Yakattak ...

Hi, just wondering if anyone else has this problem? I think, from what I can work out, that I've just been paid for my earnings in February (payment arrived about 1 week after financial reports where available). I tallied my commissions from the financial reports, and did all the currency conversions. The amount that I have is $1033 (AUD). The amount that landed in my bank account 3 days ago is $650 So I'm trying to work out what I'm being paid for? Is it the month before or have apple got massive problems ...

Finally I got my first payment on June 2,2011. But the amount in my bank account is $30 less than the number from ITunes Connect. I called the bank and also sent email to apple, neither side admitted that they took money from that, there are must be something wrong,I am in Canada,Do anyone know the reason? Thanks, Frank hi this is mostly caused by exchange rate, in your case from $ US to Canadian $ and the amount at itunes connect is only an estimated value, it always depends on the daily exchange course ! ...

So I just received my first payments from Apple. I used Google to convert the foreign currencies on my financial statements to USD -- my numbers are about 5% less -- so the back must have charged me a 5% fee for currency conversion. I expect my back to be charging me a percentage for money transactions.. does this seem about right? Google usually gives you the "mid-market rate" (the average of the buying and selling prices). NOONE will give you that as an exchange rate, otherwise they're losing money. Your ...

Hi how does the payment work if you use adsense and live in the UK? Do cheques come through in dollars? Please elaborate, thanks Adsense cheques come in dollars for a lot of people i know in the UK. Your bank will just exchange the dollars for pounds at the current exchange rate when you cash your cheque. I would think that payments are made in dollars. At least they do in if you live in Denmark. Many Thanks, so how does this work in a bank if you pay a cheque in a foreign currency? top quality cheers! dam ...

Anyone have a method / tips for reconciling the wire transfer payments with the financial reports? It seems that: - Multiple geographic territories get bundled into one wire transfer payment. For example, USA and rest of world are both in USD and both seem to get paid in one wire transfer. - My bank can only tell me the source of the transfer and an amount in USD, not the original amount in the source currency. (Except for payments from Australia!) - Multiple months revenue is rolled up into one payment if ...

Hi, Does anyone know where I can find information about the currency exchange rates that Apple uses to convert non-USD app sales into US dollars? Also, does Apple does currency exchange conversion everyday or does it do it once a month at the end of the month? Thanks. jwt8070 wrote: » Hi, Does anyone know where I can find information about the currency exchange rates that Apple uses to convert non-USD app sales into US dollars?
